The Adventures of Dunno

Dunno how many of you have read this amazing book. This is one of the most beautiful stories I've read as a kid. It is written by Nikolai Nosov, a Russian children's author.

It's about a group of tiny people called Mites who live in Fairyland. Mites are no bigger than pine cones. The story is about a boy-Mite called Dunno (Know-nothing). His adventures are cute and exciting at the same time.

Imagine this! - the boat sails are made of a leaves. Mites saw off mushrooms. To collect pears from a tree, a battalion of Mites use saws, ladders, motors and pulleys.

The concept and the detail are so beautiful - it puts a smile on my face each time I think about it. Today was a tiring day at work.. I came home and looked up the net for this book. I even read a couple of chapters.

It feels good to be a child again!
